You can't beat a tulip.....


for injecting an array of colour into emerging spring borders. This is a snapshot from our 'hot border'.

Tulips can provide a zing of colour throughout March to May if you choose wisely from early, mid and late flowering varieties. We have added to our collection over the past few years to include these beauties as well as early reds and yellows. They give shots of colour all along the border between the greens of emerging perennials. There's a mass of different shaped flowers to choose from. Best planted in November, I will be mostly choosing some frilly ones for next year :)
